Infection Control Statement
The infection control lead at our practice is Karen Robinson, Practice Nurse and the deputy infection control lead is Clare Germany, Practice Nurse.
The practice carries out an annual internal infection control audit to ensure that standards are maintained.
We have appropriate infection control policies including:
- Blood and body fluids exposure
- Clinical waste
- Contageous illness in staff
- Handwashing
- Laundering of clothes
The practice asks that you:
- Report anything that you feel is an infection control risk

Patients are not required to wear a facemask when attending the practice, unless this is a personal preference. Health and care staff are also not required to wear facemasks, unless this is their personal preference. You are able to request your clinician wears a facemask during your appointment.
