Requesting an appointment

You can request your appointment in the following ways:

We are now able to offer additional appointments, both telephone and face to face, every 4th week, from the week beginning 25th October, at Spixworth surgery, until 8pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and Saturday morning from 9am to 1pm.

In the interim weeks these appointments will be available at Drayton, Aylsham Market or Reepham surgeries. These appointments will be offered by our reception team in the normal way.

Doctors appointments

All our doctors appointments should be requested up to six weeks ahead, you can do this by completing our Get Help For Any Health Problem form. There are no on the day routine appointments.

If you wish to see a particular GP, you will be offered the first available appointment within the next six weeks.

Pre-bookable appointments are also available from 07:15 on some days. These appointments are intended to help people who work and are having difficulty getting to the surgery, in normal practice hours. If you require more information, please contact reception for details.

Multiple Problems

We know that getting an appointment with a doctor is sometimes difficult and that some patients save their problems and present them to the doctor at the same time. Each appointment is 10 minutes long and is not a lot of time, even for just one problem. Therefore, please do not be offended if the doctor asks you to rebook for your other problems. We are working in your best interests to keep you safe. We would always encourage patients to book double appointments where appropriate.

Urgent appointments

For medically urgent consultations needed on the same day, please telephone the surgery and an appointment will be booked with an advanced care practitioner at Coltishall Medical Practice.

Please note that we do not offer a walk in service at either of the surgeries.
