Patient Participation and Friends Group

The original Patient Participation and Friends Group (then referred to as the Patient Participation Group or PPG) was first developed in 2008. The group currently consists of 12 members (patients and staff), meeting three to four times a year to work with the practice to provide practical support, encourage health initiatives and provide strategic input and advice.

The group is based on a cooperation between the practice staff and patients. It is currently led by the chairperson, Steve Kempson.

The PPFG is an active supporter of the wasted medicine campaign (PDF).
